Description
No. 27 North Bailey is an 18th-century house constructed of brick, featuring seven rows of stretchers along with one row of two stretchers and two headers. It has an ashlar plinth and dressings, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and has two bays. To the left, there is a partly-glazed six-panel door set within an architrave, which is adorned with a frieze and cornice. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, and the top floor features broader sashes. The house has projecting stone sills and flat brick arches above the windows. Notable details include a chamfered plinth, ashlar floor bands, and an eaves band. There is also a boot-scraper recess next to the door.
