Description
The Beeches is a house dating from around 1840, constructed from squared sandstone rubble with a roof made of large purple slates and featuring stone chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three symmetrical bays. There are two steps leading up to a central door that has been partly glazed and replaced, topped with a patterned overlight and set under a flush lintel. The windows are 12-pane sashes, also with flush lintels and projecting sills. The roof has coped gables and end stacks that include top bands.
