Description

A pair of gate piers located 15 metres south of Langley Old Hall, dating from the early 18th century. They are made of sandstone ashlar and have a square plan. Each pier stands about 2.0 metres tall, although they may have been reduced in height. The piers feature corniced caps and broken vase finials adorned with gadrooned friezes. These gate piers are included for their group value.
