Description
The gunroom located to the north of the rear court at Rokeby Park is a detached structure from the mid-19th century. It is built of tooled-and-margined ashlar stone and features a graduated Lakeland slate roof. The building is single-storey and consists of two bays. The central entrance has a six-panel door with an overlight, and it is flanked by renewed twelve-pane sash windows that have steeply-sloped sills. The roof is hip-ended with overhanging wavy eaves and is topped with a wrought-iron ridge finial.
