Description
The former farmbuilding, located 35 metres west of Inglenook, is a Grade II listed structure from the early to mid-19th century that has been altered. It is constructed of squared sandstone rubble, with the central section featuring a graduated green slate roof, while the flanking sections have corrugated-asbestos roofs.
The building is two stories high with a narrow three-bay central section, flanked by one-storey, one-bay sections. It has flush quoins. The centre features a replaced boarded door in a flush surround, flanked by fixed lights, with a boarded opening above also in a flush surround. The right section has a rebated elliptical archway with alternating jambs and voussoirs. The left section contains a Dutch door in a flush surround, with a replaced casement window to the left.
