Description

The boundary stone located 550 metres north of Byers Hill is a Grade II listed structure. It is made of cut sandstone and stands approximately 1.0 metre high. The stone has a flat-topped square shape, featuring an incised "M" on the south side, which likely represents Milbank, and an incised "I" on the north side, although the meaning of this letter is uncertain. This stone marks the boundary with Newsham Civil Parish in North Yorkshire.
