Description
Weatherby House is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century, with some alterations. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a pantiled roof with flagged eaves and stone chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays, with flush quoins. The central entrance has a partly-glazed replaced door set beneath a flush tooled-and-margined lintel, with a blank bay above. On either side of the entrance are replaced side-hung casement windows in projecting surrounds, each with slightly-extended sills. The house has raised eaves and a steeply-pitched roof with coped gables and shaped kneelers, as well as end stacks that have top ledges and water tables.
To the right of the house is a short section of wall that includes a boarded door framed in an architrave, with the door lintel inscribed with "MH 1725." There are 20th-century rear additions and a garage to the right of the wall, which are not of special interest.
