Description
The remains of a quay, dating from around the late 18th century and earlier, are located 70 metres west of the Church of St Winnow. The quay is constructed from dressed granite stones and incorporates reused stone mullions and jambs from the 16th and 17th centuries, likely sourced from the manor house of St Winnow. A boathouse, situated 6 metres to the east, also features reused chamfered jambs and quoins. The jetty was described by John Leyland around 1538 as "a warfe to make shipes by," highlighting its historical significance.
