Description

The electricity transformer located at the southwest end of Graham Street is a Grade II listed structure. It features a cast iron cylindrical casing topped with a low conical cap that supports an iron lamp standard, which holds a modern lamp. The rim of the cap is decorated with beading, while the body of the transformer showcases relief decoration beneath the rim. The casing is divided into panels by horizontal ribs, with vertical ribs that include hinges for access doors.
