Description
Hollybush Bridge is a single-arch bridge built of rubble, located over the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. It features a semi-elliptical arch made with stone voussoirs. The parapet rises towards the center and flares out to square piers on the west side, with the southwest pier having been repaired using brick and stone. The bridge has cemented copings and an iron plate on the south side that reads: ‘Hollybush No. 28 Bridge.’ This bridge carries a footpath leading to houses to the east, while a towing path runs underneath on the west side.
