Description
Gelli-ber Farmhouse is a 17th century farmhouse that has been extended over time. It is two storeys high, with rendered walls and a slate-clad roof. The original central section features two gable-end chimneys that have been rebuilt in brick. On the south elevation, there is a prominent three-storey gabled porch. Each side of the porch has one window per floor, and the upper floor of the porch has one additional window. These windows are later wood casements that include mullions, transoms, and glazing bars. The outer opening of the porch has a segmental-headed chamfered stone door frame, while the inner opening contains a plank door set in a square-headed, stop-moulded oak frame. To the east, there is a later gabled range with a gable end chimney, and to the west, there is a modern two-storey gabled range. The building was not available for inspection during the re-survey in November 1995.
