Description
The barn at Priory Farm is a 19th-century building constructed from limewashed local sandstone rubble and topped with a Welsh slate roof. It features a combination of a stable and hayloft on the north side, and a threshing barn on the south side, which includes a lean-to pigsty at the south gable end.
The west front has central plank doors that lead directly to the threshing floor, reaching up to the eaves. To the left, there is a plain plank door leading to the stable, accompanied by a pointed head window to its left. Above this door, there is a taking-in door for the hayloft. To the right of the central doors, there are two small square vents. The left gable features small vents, while the right gable has a slit vent positioned above a double pigsty below it.
On the east elevation, there is a small door leading to the threshing floor, with two small square vents located above to the left. The interior was not inspected during the resurvey, but it is very likely to remain unaltered.
