Description

The wall and gateway of Monmouth Priory Centre is made of random local sandstone rubble and stands about 1.25 meters high, topped with flat stone coping. Embedded in the wall is a doorway featuring a two-centred arch with a moulded arch and a brattished head. This doorway is supported by double crowsteps on each side.
