Description

This is a three-window, two-storey terrace of shops and dwellings, likely dating from the 18th century. The frontages are roughcast rendered and painted, topped with Welsh slate roofs and red brick stacks. The terrace is broken into three sections: number 37 features a canted corner, the Britannia Inn has an L-shaped frontage, and number 41 is a plain frontage. There are six windows in total; most are double-hung sash windows with 6 over 6 glazing bars, although the three upper windows on the left-hand side have 3 over 6 panes. Various entrances are present. The roof is low-pitched, with four chimneys. Number 37 is canted and angled to the left, at number 39. A single window and plank door are located to the right. The rear elevation is not visible. The interior of the building was not inspected during a recent survey.
