Description
The Britannia Inn, located at Nos. 37-41 Drybridge Street, is a public house with roughcast rendered and painted fronts and Welsh slate roofs featuring red brick stacks. The building has three pilaster bands and is part of a broken fronted terrace that includes one canted building (No. 37), one L-shaped building (The Britannia Inn), and one plain building (No. 41). It stands two storeys tall with a total of six windows. All windows are double hung sashes with 6 over 6 glazing bars, except for the upper three on the left, which have 3 over 6 panes. The property has various doors and plain low pitch roofs with four stacks. The rear elevation has not been seen.
Originally built in an L-shape, the layout features 1 + 2 windows and the entrance is located under a pent roof in the angle. The interior has not been seen during the resurvey.
