Description

Nos. 24-30 (even) Drybridge Street consist of a range of buildings with roughcast render, a painted elevation, a plinth, and a Welsh slate roof. The buildings follow a double-depth plan and rise to two storeys with five windows to the whole, except for No. 26, which has two windows. The ground floor features four doors, four windows, and a central archway, arranged in a sequence of door: window: window: door: arch: door: window: window: door. Each door is a six-panel design with flush panels, and there are steps leading up to them. An elliptical arch, featuring a keystone and impost blocks, provides access to the rear and to Drybridge Terrace. All windows are sash windows with six-over-six panes and stone cills. The roof has a moderately steep pitch and incorporates substantial chimney stacks positioned within the party walls between Nos. 24 and 26, and between Nos. 28 and 30. The rear elevations have been altered, but are only partially visible. The interior was not inspected during a recent survey.
