Description
This is a K6-type telephone call box, constructed in the 20th century. It is a square kiosk made of cast iron and features a domed roof with four lunettes that contain embossed George VI crowns above red-lettered opals and ventilation slits. The box has raised surrounds with marginal bars on the horizontal glazing and a moulded plinth. The rear of the box is blank. It has a foundry plate from Carron Ironworks in Falkirk.
