Description

This is a three-storey double-depth terrace of brick houses, with Nos. 26 and 32 pebble-dashed and Nos. 28 and 30 rendered and painted. The roof is covered in Welsh slate. The houses have six-over-six pane sash windows, each with a keystone and voussoirs, except for those at No. 28. Originally, No. 30 had a shopfront at street level, but this has since been replaced by two windows. No. 32 has a modern roughcast finish and a modern porch. Each house has a six-panel door; Nos. 26, 28 and 30 feature fan transoms over the doors and flat hoods supported by brackets, while No. 32 has a modern canted hood. The roof slopes gently parallel with the street, and the front slope appears to have been altered, raising the front wall. Chimneys are located between Nos. 26 and 28 and on the outside walls of Nos. 30 and 32. The rear elevation shows sash windows with six-over-six panes at No. 26, a large dormer added in the late 20th century to No. 28, and gabled rear wings added in the late 20th century to Nos. 30 and 32. The interior includes late-Georgian detailing.
