Description

Brook Cottage is a two-storey building with a double fronted central entrance plan and a rear wing. The exterior is faced with painted roughcast render and features a Welsh slate roof. It has three windows on the front, with a six-panel door set beneath a timber trellis porch, flanked by 8 over 8 pane sash windows. On the upper floor, there are 4 over 8 pane sashes on either side of a central Victorian 3 over 3 pane sash. The roof has a low pitch and includes rendered stacks on both gables. The full height rear wing is blind to the street and connects to No. 3 Wonastow Road. The rear elevation has not been seen. The interior was not inspected during the resurvey.
