Description
The Coach and Horses Inn is a Georgian inn featuring roughcast rendered and painted walls, a machine-tile roof, and three parallel rendered stacks, with the end stack on the right topped with slate pots. The building stands three storeys high and has a three-window range of widely spaced 12-pane sashes with exposed frames, including one wider sash on the first floor at the end right. On the ground floor, there are two sash windows, two enlarged windows, and two doorways with bracketed hoods, with the left doorway having a segmental arch. The building has a plinth and a catslide roof at the rear.
The interior was refurbished in the late 20th century and features some chamfered beams and panelled shutters.
