Description

Fairlight is a late Georgian townhouse that has been converted into a surgery. It is attached on one side and projects from it. The building features scored rendered walls and a hipped pantile roof that is set behind a parapet with a moulded cornice. There is a narrow and long end stack. The townhouse has three storeys and a basement, with a three-window range of sash windows that include marginal panes. The doorway is located to the right and has a plain rectangular fanlight above it, with a door that has arched panels, accessed by a flight of seven steps. Platbands are present on the rendered side elevation, and the rear elevation retains most of its sash windows. There are stairs leading to the basement on the left side.

Inside, the space has been converted for use as a surgery but still retains some panelled shutters and reveals. The staircase, which features a wreathed handrail and stick balusters, rises from the rear of the hall.
