Description
Marlborough House is a small detached Georgian house that has been converted into offices. The exterior features walls made of joint-lined roughcast and a shallow pitched hipped slate roof with boarded overhanging eaves. The building stands two storeys tall with a basement and has a two-window range of horned 12-pane sash windows, which are set in reveals and have narrow glazing bars. The basement windows have 9 panes. The main entrance is a door with a flat surround located in the middle of the side elevation. The forecourt is enclosed by railings and a gate that feature spear finials and plain gatepiers, with steps leading up to the right and down to the left.
Inside, the space has been converted for office use. A staircase with stick balusters rises from the side doorway, with rooms located on either side. Some of the rooms still have their original shutters and panelled reveals, along with 4-panelled doors.
