Description
39 St. Mary's Street is a three-storey building constructed of painted brick with a tile roof and brick stacks. It features a double depth plan with doors located on the right side. The ground floor is arranged with two windows, two doors, and a central carriage arch in the sequence of window, door, arch, window, door. The carriage entry has a keyed and imposted segmental arch. The doorways are adorned with broken pediments and console brackets, and there are transom lights above the doors. The sash windows on the ground floor have 6 over 6 panes, with additional half panes on either side, and are detailed with keystones and voussoirs. The first floor has similar 6 over 6 pane sashes, while the second floor features 3 over 6 panes, with all windows having stone cills. The roof has a low pitch and includes stacks on the left gable and the right side wall of the carriage arch. The rear elevation has not been seen, and the interior was not inspected during the resurvey.
