Description
The entrance gate piers to the former northern drive of Llanarth Court are constructed from sandstone ashlar, with rubble stone flanking walls. There are two large gate piers that are chamfered square at the base and topped with octagonal sections and pointed caps. To the north, there is a lower ashlar Tudor-arched pedestrian gate that features ridged coping, which ramps down beyond the gate over a rubble stone wall, also with ridged coping. A high rubble wall with similar coping is located to the south. The entrance is completed by a pair of iron gates adorned with spearheads and dog-bars, with the top rails ramping down to the center and featuring curved strengthening bars. The pedestrian gate also has spearhead rails.
