Description
Nantyderry Cottages is a terrace of railway cottages built in 1854. The cottages are made from squared snecked rock-faced sandstone blocks and feature a cogged band between the floors, topped with a Welsh slate roof. This two-storey row consists of four cottages, each with a ground floor window and door, as well as an upper floor window. The ground floor window is an 8 over 8 pane sash with an elliptical head, and to the right of it is a plank door; No. 1 has a late 20th-century replacement door. Each upper floor has a gable to the left, with a sash window that has 2 over 2 horizontal panes and an octagonal-shaped head. The roof is steeply pitched and has an end brick stack on the left. The rear elevation has not been seen, and the interior was not inspected during the resurvey.
