Description

The South Churchyard Cross at the Church of St Peter is located on the south side of the church, in its traditional position. It is made of dressed sandstone blocks. The structure features three diminishing square steps made of large blocks, leading up to a massive block that serves as the socket stone. Above this is a plain cross with an octagonal shaft that has broaches. Both the socket stone and the cross were created in 1905, while the steps are much older.
