Description

Nantyderry Cottages is a terrace of railway cottages built in 1854. The cottages are made from squared snecked rock-faced sandstone blocks and feature a cogged band between the floors, topped with a Welsh slate roof. This two-storey row includes four cottages, each with a ground floor window and door, as well as an upper floor window. The ground floor window is an 8 over 8 pane sash with an elliptical head, and to the right of it is a plank door; No. 1 has a late 20th-century replacement door. Each upper floor has a gable to the left, with a sash window featuring 2 over 2 horizontal panes and an octagonal-shaped head. The roof is steeply pitched and has an end brick stack on the left. The rear elevation has not been seen.
