Description
The canal bridge at Top Lock on the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal is a hump-backed structure built into the northern lock of the canal. It is made of rubblestone and features a single segmental arch constructed with dressed sandstone voussoirs. The bridge has parapets with flat coping that were repaired with cement in the 20th century. The abutments splay outwards on each side, leading to square piers, and the deck is made of cement.
