Description

The group of five tombs located in the churchyard to the south of St Peter's Church consists of rectangular chest tombs made of heavily tooled stone with cast iron lids, each featuring varying degrees of decoration.

Thomas Deakin's tomb is situated about 10 meters from the south side of the church. Its lid has a simple decorated edging, and the stone sides are inscribed with dates.

Samuel Hopkins' tomb is approximately 4 meters from the church's south elevation. Its lid also has a simply decorated edging, but the inscription plaque is now located inside the church.

Sarah Bissell's tomb, located about 7 meters from the church, is plain and bears only its inscription without any decoration.

Ann Griffiths' tomb is around 4 meters from the south elevation of the church and features decorative edging surrounding its inscription.

The fifth tomb is approximately 2 meters from the church and has an illegible inscription. It is adorned with decorative edging and stylised angels at each corner.
