Description
The monument is a railed structure located in the churchyard at the southeast corner of St Barrwg's Church. It features a stepped stone plinth that supports a low freestone chest, which has stiff-leaf foliage carved into the hollow-chamfered angles. The edges of the incised slab are roll-moulded and it commemorates members of the Price family who lived between 1777 and 1878. At the head of the slab, there is a shaped, sunk panel, although the insert is now missing. Surrounding the enclosure are fine ironwork railings topped with spear finials and dog-rails that have openwork heads. Additionally, a cover stone to the vault is located beneath the eastern side of the tomb.
