Description
The Miskin Arms is a three-bay public house dating from the 19th century, featuring two storeys with an attic. The exterior walls are rendered and painted cream, topped with a slate roof that has a brick stack on the right side and a taller rendered stack on the left. The entrance is a central half-glazed panelled door with a plain overlight above it. The outer bays on the lower storey feature tripartite sash windows. A continuous lean-to canopy supported by wooden posts with stone bases extends across the lower storey, also covered with a slate roof. The upper storey has 12-pane hornless sash windows.
On the right gable end, there are two hornless sash windows in the upper storey and a round-headed sash window in the attic. A hipped lean-to has been added to the lower storey, which includes an additional doorway with half-lit double doors to the right.
At the rear, there is a lower gabled wing that is positioned at right angles to the main building, constructed of whitewashed rubble and also featuring a slate roof. This wing has a full-height opening to the right of centre with a boarded door, and to the left, there is a sash window. Further left, there is a small lean-to with a small window located below the eaves. The property has not been inspected.
