Description
Chapel House is a 2-storey former chapel situated on a steep site, with one storey visible from the street and two storeys at the rear. The building features rubble stone walls that still have some areas of render, and a slate roof with a brick chimney on the right side. The street-facing side has three horned-sash windows and a lower gabled porch to the left of center, which contains a half-lit panelled door on the right side. The left gable end has two sash windows in the upper storey and a projection at the lower storey. At the back, both storeys have sash windows, with the lower storey originally serving as a Sunday School.
Although not inspected, it is reported to have a coved and ribbed ceiling and a plastered arch behind the former pulpit.
