Description

The Borough Chambers is a three-storey building featuring a four-window block. It is constructed with yellow and red brick bands, complemented by bathstone oriel windows. The slate roof is topped with tall red brick chimneys. On the first and second floors, there are four bathstone oriel windows supported by brackets, with relief aprons situated between the floors. On the ground floor, to the right, there is a doorway with a bracketed hood and an inscription reading "Borough Chambers." To the left, there are modernised shopfronts positioned between stone pilasters that have floral capitals, along with brackets adorned with garlands leading up to the cornice.
