Description
This outbuilding, located at the south-west end of The Quarry House Public House, is constructed from local lias limestone with Bath stone dressings and features a Westmorland slate roof. It is two storeys tall with a gabled roof and has ashlar stacks. A single dripstone runs across the ground floor, which includes, from south-west to north-east, a single light window, two doorways with moulded heads, two 2-light windows, and another doorway with a moulded head. At the north-east end, there are paired timber garage doors. On the first floor, from left to right, there are two 3-light mullioned windows with small panes, and at the north-east end, a gable with two similar 3-light windows. The roof is steeply pitched and has two ridge stacks. There are external staircases at either end leading to the first-floor accommodation, with the door on the left gable having been altered to a modern window. The rear elevation was not visible during the resurvey, and the interior was also not seen at that time.
