Description
Osmington Cottage, Ivy Cottage, and The Mount are three two-storey cottages built of stone rubble with dressed stone quoins. They feature coping and kneelers on the gables and have a Welsh slate roof with ridge stacks that have old pots. The central cottage has a plaque dated 1852. Each cottage has three-light casement windows, with the center lights being plain and the outer lights featuring lattice tracery, all set on stone cills. The porches have pointed arches and gables. Ivy Cottage is set back in the center and has a front elevation with two window bays and a central door bay with a porch. The front elevations of Osmington Cottage, on the left, and The Mount, on the right, are designed as gabled cross-wings, with Osmington Cottage to the east and The Mount to the west. Both have three-light casement windows above and below in the front gable ends, and each side elevation includes an external stack and porch. The rear elevation was not visible. Osmington Cottage has a modern addition at the rear. The interior was not inspected during the resurvey.
