Description

The entrance block to the Royal Arcade is a three-storey structure featuring a polychrome front made of Pennant stone, with dressings and bands in bathstone and red brick. The ends of the building have red brick pilasters. On the second floor, there is a central group of three windows with Italianate Gothic heads, all with sash glazing. The first floor has a group of three square-headed windows, with single windows on either end, also featuring sash glazing. The ground floor includes a central entrance to the arcade, which is flanked by shops and has a canopy over the entrance.
