Description

The Porthkerry Railway Viaduct, located partly in the community of Rhoose, is constructed of grey stone with brick dressings. It features irregular spans leading to round arches and tall, tapering stone piers with plinths of varying heights. The brick arches reach a maximum height of approximately 30 metres, and the structure is topped with a stone parapet that includes corbelled buttresses.
