Description
This is a lofted agricultural outbuilding located to the north of Nant Bran Farmhouse. It is constructed from local roughly coursed rubble, with some areas rendered, and features a shallow-pitched slate roof. The southeast elevation, which faces the garden, has a pair of doors at the center and shows the roofline of a former lean-to on the right end. The southwest gable, which is downhill, includes a square window on each floor and has a brick chimney at each corner; the right chimney is corbelled out over the rounded corner of the building. There are no openings on the northwest elevation, which faces the farmyard, but there are stone stairs leading to a door at the upper level of the northeast gable, which is uphill. Inside, the southwest ground floor room contains a boiler and an oven.
