Description

South Gate, also known as Porth y Felin, is a gate made of stone rubble, standing six metres high, approximately 6.2 metres deep, and six metres wide. The north side features pointed double archways that are about 3.3 metres wide, while the south face has a segmental arch. The gate is flanked by buttresses that likely date from 19th century restorations.
