Description

This mid-Victorian building is an annexe to St. David’s Nursing Home, constructed in a classical style. It is a two-storey, symmetrical building with three bays, faced in stucco. The central section is taller and projects forward. The top is finished with balustraded parapets and an eaves cornice, with a band running along the windows. The windows are arranged in three parts within architraves, and the first-floor windows have hoods supported by volute brackets. The sashes themselves are plain, without glazing bars. A blind niche with a scallop motif sits above the central first-floor window, topped by a small balustraded balcony with decorative finials. The main entrance is a twin-pilastered doorcase with arched openings, and a six-panel door is located on the left side.
