Description
Garnlwyd is a farmhouse and outbuilding built in line, constructed from whitewashed rubble stone. The house, located on the right, features a slate roof, a whitewashed stone chimney at the left end, and a ridge chimney towards the right end. The outbuilding to the left has a slightly lower stone-tiled roof.
The house has small first-floor windows located under the eaves, a central 6-pane window with a timber lintel, and a 4-pane window to the right. The ground floor includes a right cambered-headed 4-pane window, a central door, and a 9-pane window to the left, also with a timber lintel. The windows are of the Brecon hopper type. A whitewashed stone wall extends from the facade in line with the right chimney, connecting to a whitewashed single-storey outbuilding that has a slate roof.
The main outbuilding to the left features two stable doors with cambered heads and a square loft light above under the eaves, along with a small cambered-headed barn door to the left. There is a single-storey range at the left end with a door and double doors, topped with a corrugated iron roof.
The interior has not been inspected.
