Description
Forest Lodge is a farmhouse built from purple rubble stone, featuring a slate roof and roughcast end stacks. The building has two storeys and a three-window range of 12-pane sash windows with cambered heads, stone voussoirs, and stone sills. The entrance is marked by a centre half-glazed door.
On the right end wall, there is a ground floor 16-pane window with stone voussoirs and a smaller window on each floor to the right, located at the end of a rear outshut. The rear of the building has an outshut to the left, which includes a window and a door, both with stone voussoirs. To the right, there is a large rear wing that features a prominent brick ridge stack at the back of the main range and a roughcast ridge stack positioned further back. Above, there is one 16-pane sash window with a brick head and stone sides, situated over a large 12-pane sash window that has stone voussoirs and brick sides. To the right, there is a door with cut grey stone voussoirs.
The interior has not been inspected.
