Description

16 Free Street is part of a row of six two-storey cottages, which includes Nos 12 to 17. The cottages are finished in painted pebbledash and feature slate roofs that are hipped at the right end. The buildings are arranged in three pairs of windows, with each pair having three windows, although the central first-floor windows are blind. The doorways are centrally arranged in pairs, and the windows primarily consist of nine small panes. No 16 specifically has a half-glazed modern door. Nos 16 and 17 are set slightly forward from the rest of the row.
