Description

Nos 48 and 49 Little Free Street are an early to mid 19th century pair of houses. They are constructed of stone and feature slate roofs with a central chimney stack. The door and window openings have stone lintels. On the first floor, there were originally two windows with a blind window in the center, but now there is a later window to the right of the center. On the ground floor, each house has a doorway for an end passage, followed by an entrance doorway towards the center, and then a window.

No. 48 has modern casement windows, a boarded door leading to the passage, and a part-glazed panelled door for the entrance.
