Description

Nos 12 to 17 Free Street are a row of six two-storey cottages, with Nos 16 and 17 set slightly forward. The cottages are finished in painted pebbledash and feature slate roofs that are hipped at the right end. The buildings are grouped as three pairs, each with three windows, although the central first-floor windows are blind. The openings have camber-headed tops, and the doorways are arranged to be central within each pair. Most of the windows consist of nine small panes. No 12 has a modern panelled door.
