Knight's Mill

Knight's Mill is a Tudor-Gothic style cottage built in one-and-a-half storeys. It features a main range with a wing set back to the right. The structure is made of rubble stone and has a stone tile roof with decorative foiled barge boards. The main range has a half-hipped roof at the front, while the wing also has a half-hipped roof to the right. A stone ridge stack on the wing has three diagonal stone shafts.

At the front, the main range includes a canted bay with a three-light mullioned and transomed window, along with a two-light casement window above it that has a hood mould. The wing features a similar two-light window beneath a canopy supported by two square timber posts, which is under a catslide roof. The main doorway is located on the side wall of the main range and consists of a wooden frame with a Tudor-arched head, a boarded and ribbed door, and a hood mould. The end wall of the wing has two-light windows that are also under hood moulds.

On the left side wall of the main range, there is a gabled projection to the right of centre, which has a 20th-century inserted window in the lower storey and a blind narrow window above. Additionally, there is a further blocked window set back at the left end of the building. The property was not inspected at the time of the survey in August 1997.
