Description
The outbuilding on the east side of the yard at Cwrt Bryn y Beirdd is part of a four-sided courtyard that includes a farmhouse, a south range, and a northeast range, which are all listed separately. The building is constructed of rubble stone and has a corrugated iron roof, making it slightly lower than the adjoining south range.
It features five doors: the first is low and located in the angle, while the next two, which are both blocked, have stone voussoirs. The central large door is topped with a stone slab lintel, and there is a loading door directly above it, reaching up to the eaves. To the left, there are two additional doors, also with stone voussoirs. The loft area has a loop opening on the right and a small blocked window on the left. There is a straight joint leading to an added barn on the left, which is listed with the northeast range.
