East range of outbuildings at Caerhedyn

The east range of outbuildings at Caerhedyn is a Grade II listed structure made of rubble stone, featuring slate and corrugated iron roofs. This outbuilding range consists of two sections that back onto a farm courtyard and face east. The upper section has a slate roof and a windowless loft at the rear, with three small square openings on the ground floor and an added brick lean-to to the left. There is a loft door in the south end gable that faces the road, which has a brick cambered head. The east front features two large loft windows located under the eaves and two doors with oak lintels that are not precisely aligned with the upper openings. It is possible that the upper floor is a later addition.

The lower range, which is attached to the north, has a corrugated iron roof. The east side of this range includes a loft with an opening at the extreme left, positioned against the angle of the upper range, along with three vent loops and a small window to the right. The ground floor has a central door with an oak lintel and two cart entries to the right, also with oak lintels. The rear, which faces the courtyard, has five loops under the eaves and a central door with an oak lintel.

The loft of the upper range features pine collar trusses typical of the later 19th century, while the ground floor is used as a stable.
