Description
Maen-Du Well is a stone well-house with a rectangular plan. The roof is made of stone courses that rise from the wall heads to a pointed apex. There is a square-headed doorway in the center of the southern side, featuring a large lintel and rebates to the jambs. An inscription on the left jamb reads "WW 1754". Inside, rough steps lead down into the vaulted well house. There is a small outlet for water in the left return wall that leads to a rectangular pool with a stone surround. A winding channel, lined with stone, carries water down to a pond.
