Description

The Cemetery Chapel, built in the decorated Gothic style, is one of a mirrored pair of chapels that face each other across a circular space. Constructed from grey stone with bands of red-brown stone and pale ashlar dressings, it features a slate roof with a single surviving band of purple slates. The northeast gabled end, which faces the road, includes a belcote and a three-light window adorned with Decorated style tracery. On the elevation facing the circular space, there is a gabled porch to the right, and to its left, two gabled single light windows. The south gable end has two windows. The southeast-facing elevation features a porch with a narrow doorway flanked by small narrow lancets, along with two gabled single light windows to its left.
